FROM YOUNG & SCRAPPY- TO MATURE & CLASSY
Work/life balance is definitely a huge factor in many people's lives. As such, Jeff takes great pride in really focusing on this balance, not tipping too far one way or the other.
One way Jeff ensures he remains focused on his personal life is through hobbies. Growing up he was an athletic kid playing soccer, basketball, baseball, and hockey. He played competitive club soccer through his freshman year of high school before hanging up his cleats. He played competitive hockey through high school and continued on to club teams while in college. Jeff served as the captain of his high school team all 4 years. As an adult, Jeff still enjoys lacing up his skates and playing around on a rink as one of his hobbies.
In his sophomore year of high school, Jeff picked up motocross. He quickly took his competitive nature into this sport, and within a year he became a weekly 1st place winner at many of his local motocross tracks in Southern California. Finding a true passion here, Jeff spent most of his free time riding his dirt bike, and living the “moto lifestyle”. Approaching a decision on college, Jeff had some hard choices. Either continue to pursue a professional motocross path, or take the formal education path. He chose formal education and the days of competitive track riding ended. Jeff still enjoys getting out on his dirt bike and flying through the air at local tracks. This remains one of his favorite hobbies.
After spending 10+ years in the business world, Jeff realized golfing was a must. His years of spectating came to an end as he began playing in the charity golf events he sponsored. Although he's still a new golfer, Jeff has developed a passion for the sport and is learning often, now playing true rounds of golf.
Traveling has always held a special place in Jeff's heart. He strives to get in as much (personal) travel as he can, given he traveled for a living for 15 years. Seeing new places, learning new cultures, and meeting new people through travel is definitely a top hobby of Jeff’s.
For the past 3 years, self-care has become a huge hobby/passion for Jeff. The term "self-care" can mean a lot of different things to many people. For Jeff, self-care involves dedicating several hours a week focusing on his mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. A huge advocate for self-growth, Jeff has consistently been involved with life coaches and personal development therapists for the past 15 years. After taking several years off a consistent physical fitness routine, Jeff is back at it and rarely misses his 2 weekly physical therapy and one on one training sessions. He believes in the “oxygen masks” analogy - that we all must help ourselves and be on the top of our game before we can help or support others.
Other hobbies Jeff enjoys are:
Boating
Wakeboarding
Snowboarding
Watching Professional Sports
Mentoring
Building businesses
Real Estate
Salt Water Fish Tanks
Collecting Wine
Automobiles
